iD8 Labs presents, Arcade Arena! The gaming tournament organized by the iD8 Student Club, be prepared to win glory, fame and riches as you compete with other fellow students to determine who will be the best of the best!
We will be testing the skills of the participants in 3 different games which you can choose whichever one you wish to compete in! The 3 games are FIFA 23, Mario Kart 8, and Mobile Legends!
Below are further explanations regarding the proceedings for each games:
FIFA 23
The FIFA 23 tournament will be held in the style of Round of 16, participants will be assigned their own brackets and will then have to compete and play against one another to see who can win the tournament!
The FIFA 23 tournament will be held from 3 PM to 9 PM. Below is the itinerary for the tournament.
- 3 PM – 4 PM (Event Open Registration Time)
- 4 PM – 6 PM (Round of 16 Style Battle)
- 6 PM – 8 PM (Semi Finals and Finals)
- 8 PM – 9 PM (Prize Ceremony)
Mario Kart 8
The Mario Kart tournament will be held in the style of qualifiers, semi-finals, and finals! Compete to see who is the best driver amongst all the participants!
The Mario Kart 8 tournament will be held from 3 PM to 9 PM. Below is the itinerary for the tournament.
- 3 PM – 4 PM (Event Open Registration Time)
- 4 PM – 6 PM (Qualifiers)
- 6 PM – 8 PM (Semi Finals and Finals)
Mobile Legends
The Mobile Legends tournament will test your personal skills and your skills in working with your teammates as the tournament will be participated by teams of 5!
The Mobile Legends tournament will be held from 6.30 PM – 10 PM. Below is the itinerary for the tournament.
- 6.30 PM – 7.30 PM (Team A vs Team B ( Bracket 1 ) and Team C vs Team D ( Bracket 2 ))
- 7.30 PM – 8.30 PM (Team E vs Team F ( Bracket 3) and Winner of Bracket 1 vs Bracket 2)
- 8.30 PM – 10 PM (Finals and the Prize Ceremony)
This tournament will be held on the 11th of December.
Before the tournaments begins, from 12 PM – 3PM there will be a free play session at C3-04 where students can freely relax and play either Mario Kart 8 or FIFA 23 with other fellow students.
The prize pool for each tournament will be started at 15 SGD for the Mario Kart 8 and FIFA 23 tournaments whilst the Mobile Legends tournament will have an initial prize pool of 30 SGD. 100% of the registration fee which has been paid will be contributing towards the prize pool of whichever game that person registers for.
The FIFA 23 and Mario Kart 8 tournaments will be a winner takes all type of competition! The first place winner will win 100% of the prize pool, so sharpen your skills and prepare yourself even more!
The Mobile Legends tournament will be a tournament where the first place takes 70% of the prize pool while the second place takes 30% of the prize pool!
Players for the FIFA 23 and Mario Kart 8 tournament are allowed to bring their own controllers, however if they do not have one, iD8 got you covered as we can provide you with one!
